Where are you from?
Born in West Africa(Ghana), grew up in the United States, currently living in Salt lake city.
Who are your biggest artistic influences?
Biggest influences growing up were Bob Marley, Isley brothers, Earth,wind&fire, Whispers, Temptations, Aretha Franklin to name a few’
Tell me about how your creation part begins, and how is your workflow.
My creation part begins with a thought, a conversation, something I see or hear and that gives me the basis to write and once I am behind my work station, composition, arrangement and finally the creation of a song.
Where do you find inspiration?
Inspiration comes from family, everyday life. I am also inspired by the idea of creating and producing a song that can transcend.
When is your favorite time of day to create your music?
My favorite time of creating music is at night through morning. Its quieter and most people are sleeping so I get the peace and quiet to work.
Describe how art is essential to society nowadays
Art serves as a mirror reflecting the values, beliefs, and experiences of society. Through various mediums such as visual arts, literature, music, and performances. Art permeates all walks of thus essential. It addresses social, political, religious, cultural etc
What motivates you to create?
Motivation for me comes from a cup of coffee (lol) . On a serious note, motivation comes from the idea of coming out with a good song, the idea of coming out with a song good enough to speak to someone and to be enjoyed by many.
How do you define success as a music artist?
Success of my music is when Its impacted lives and am able to do some good with the success of it.
Does art help you in other areas of your life?
Oh yes, doing music encourages self-reflection, introspection, and exploration of identity, values, and beliefs, it facilitates my personal growth, build some relationships and gives me a sense of belonging
How do you develop your art skills?
I Listen to a lot of music productions from different genre, read and work on music
What is your next move?
I have been in music for a while although I started putting out my works since last year, my next move is to constantly work to make good music.
Where will we see you in 5 years?
I am working hard to be in a position in 5 years to be able to help other artists come up. It will be great to be able to make it as a music artist in 5 years.
