“Cineasta” from Portugal, is the new music promise and has released the new hit song, “Serenity” on Spotify

Where are you from?
I’m from Lisboa, Portugal.

Who are your biggest artistic influences?
From classical to metal music. One of my favorite composers is Sergei Rachmaninoff and my favorite bands are Black Sabbath, Dire Straits and Queen.

Tell me about how your creation part begins, and how is your workflow.
I believe in the power of experimentation. Every sound, every chord progression, every rhythm is an opportunity to push the boundaries of creativity and discover something new. Whether I’m toying with melodies on a piano, sculpting sonic landscapes in a digital audio workstation, or blending organic and electronic elements, I’m constantly exploring, iterating, and refining until the music resonates with the essence of my vision.

Where do you find inspiration?
Every person I encounter, every conversation I have, every moment I witness holds the potential to spark inspiration. From the laughter shared with friends to the quiet moments of reflection in solitude, from the bustling energy of city streets to the serene beauty of nature’s embrace, each day presents a myriad of opportunities to draw from the wellspring of inspiration.

When is your favorite time of day to create your music?

There’s no particular moment set aside for the creation of music in my world; instead, it’s a constant presence, an ever-present undercurrent that ebbs and flows with the rhythm of life itself. It’s in the quiet moments of solitude, the lively conversations with friends, the hustle and bustle of daily life that the seeds of inspiration are sown, waiting patiently for the right conditions to germinate and flourish.

Describe how art is essential to society nowadays.
In a world where the 24-hour news cycle inundates us with a never-ending stream of information – much of it distressing or disheartening – art provides a sanctuary from the noise, a space where we can retreat into the boundless realms of imagination and creativity. Whether it’s losing ourselves in the pages of a novel, immersing ourselves in the brushstrokes of a painting, or losing track of time as we listen to a captivating piece of music, art offers us a reprieve from the relentless demands of the outside world, allowing us to recharge and rejuvenate our spirits.

What motivates you to create?
The realization of our own mortality often serves as a powerful catalyst for creation, propelling us to leave our mark on the world in a way that transcends the limitations of our earthly existence. For me, the motivation to create music stems from a profound awareness of the fleeting nature of life and the desire to leave behind a lasting legacy that will endure long after I’m gone.

How do you define success as a music artist?
My measure of success in music lies not in record sales or chart positions (that would help, of course!), but in the profound impact your music has on people’s lives and emotions. For me, true success is measured in the connections forged, the hearts touched, and the souls stirred by my melodies.

Does art help you in other areas of your life?

During the hardest times, when I felt lost, alone, and adrift, art (mainly music) became my refuge – a sanctuary where I could retreat from the chaos of the world and find solace in the timeless melodies and lyrics that spoke to the depths of my soul. Whether it was the haunting strains of a melancholy song that mirrored my sorrow or the uplifting rhythms of an anthem that ignited a spark of hope within me, music became my lifeline, guiding me through the darkness and reminding me that I was not alone.
How do you develop your art skills?
In this sense, I don’t see myself as an artist, but rather as a seeker – someone who approaches music with a sense of curiosity, wonder, and humility. I am constantly exploring new genres, techniques, and perspectives, seeking out inspiration wherever it may be found and allowing myself to be shaped and transformed by the creative process.

What is your next move?
To see the expressions on people’s faces as I pour my heart and soul into each note, to feel the energy of the crowd pulsating through the air, to share in those moments of transcendence where time seems to stand still – these are the experiences that fuel my passion for music and remind me why I embarked on this journey in the first place.

Where will we see you in 5 years?
The next 5 years I’m committed to bringing more music to life in a way that resonates deeply with listeners and leaves a lasting impression.

Thanks, for your time, “Cineasta” listen to his music on Spotify!
