The Lo-fi artist “Spectrum Syndicate Sound” released a new hit song on Spotify

Where are you from?
I’m from Seattle, WA, USA.

Who are your biggest artistic influences?
My biggest artistic influences for this project are the Warframe sound team.

Tell me about how your creation part begins, and how is your workflow.
To create these LoFi versions of the music from Warframe, we start with a song from the game, record that, try to isolate the music as much as possible, then partner with an artist that matches the style of the track well. We then go back and forth to find the exact right mood and energy that each track demands. Often, the producer will lower the tempo, add some chill beats, and create really fun music to vibe to.

Where do you find inspiration?
My inspiration mainly comes from the original Warframe music and the community of players and listeners who share their experiences and preferences.

When is your favorite time of day to create your music?
My favorite time of day to create music is at night because that’s when it’s quiet enough to really focus.

Describe how art is essential to society nowadays.
Art provides a crucial outlet for expression and connection in today’s society. It helps us communicate ideas, emotions, and experiences that might be difficult to express through words alone, fostering understanding and empathy among diverse groups.

What motivates you to create?
I was motivated to create the music because there wasn’t good, stream-safe music out there that wouldn’t get flagged for copyright, even when paying for a service designed exactly for that. I figured if no one else was doing it how I wanted it, I might as well get it done myself.

How do you define success as a music artist?
Success as a music artist for me is defined by making stuff that people enjoy listening to. I love hearing from people that say they love the music and I love having people keep coming back to this music over and over again.

Does art help you in other areas of your life?
Absolutely, art helps in other areas of life because it’s an outlet for all of the energy and emotions that come up throughout the day.

How do you develop your art skills?
My skills are mostly developed in working with really talented people who can help me bring my vision to life. That process involves a lot of trial and error and learning how to get the best out of everyone.

What is your next move?
My next move includes releasing “Warframe LoFi Fan Music, pt 2” in June, as well as hosting a month-long charity stream supporting The Trevor Project.

Where will we see you in 5 years?
In five years, hopefully, you’ll see me doing the same things just bigger and better. I really hope to become an official Warframe content creator and keep on creating fun content with streams, with my community, and with the music for all of the amazing work that the Digital Extremes sound team puts out.

Thanks for your time, and we wish you the best with your music journey! And do you want to be first when Spectrum Syndicate Sound releases a new song? Start to follow him now!
