Where are you from?
Charlotte, North Carolina USA

Who are your biggest artistic influences?
Our drummer is influenced by Soul, R&B and swing rock drummers. Most notably John Bohnam, Mitch Mitchel & Bernard Purdie.
Our bassist and singer is influenced by Pink Floyd, Muse and Arctic Monkeys.
Our guitarist and singer is influenced by Jack White, Huey Lewis and The Black Keys.

Tell me about how your creation part begins, and how your workflow is?
In general, a band member will have an idea or rough outline of a song. We learn the song, disassemble it, rewrite and perfect it. Each band member approaches this differently, but in the end, it all comes together.

Where do you find inspiration?
The fundamentals of musicianship, the synchronicity of the universe, love, morality and life experiences.

When is your favorite time of day to create your music?
For us music is an escape. Many times we feel our music creation begins in stressful situations and in most cases in the worst possible time when you have no way to record it or write it down. Other times some of our best ideas come from a state of semi lucidness also known as N1 sleep. The time of day in which these ideas all come together is varied from band member to band member.

Describe how art is essential to society nowadays
Sammy Hagar recently said “I truly believe that live music is probably going to be the ultimate savior of art”

We believe that with AI technology, it cannot produce what the human heart and soul can provide to a live audience. Thus art in its human form is and always will be essential. We feel you can’t exist without the freedom of human expression, which in its most simplest form is art itself.

What motivates you to create?
To feel complete, to escape from complacency and to connect to something greater than you.

How do you define success as a music artist?
Creating music and songs that stand the test of time. Creating a song that saves a soul. Causing the listener to realize the spirit and inspiration of what we created, and then absorb the passion to do great things.

Does art help you in other areas of your life?
Absolutely, art is not bound by human constraints. It transcends all barriers of our existence, thus our hope is that our art brings people together instead of tearing them apart. We find that art inspires us to create and in turn helps us accomplish our goals as a band.

How do you develop your art skills?
Repetition of rudimentary knowledge. Performing live.
Learning from other musicians and artists.

What is your next move?
To continue being consistent in our writing, recording and releasing of our music by releasing a song every month for the foreseeable future.

Where will we see you in 5 years?
By collecting and creating as many opportunities as we can we will make a living as a band.
