I begin writing by strumming the chords on my guitar, I will then try to hum along some chords and then try and write them down and that’s when it all comes together. The instruments will follow when complete lyrics.

Describe how art is essential to society nowadays
Art is essential to society because music is life. Without music then the world wouldn’t be a good place. Music makes the world tick. It shows every emotion and saves lives. I know that I wouldn’t be here without my music. It saves you. Music can also give you a place to get away and forget about the world. It can also give people comfort in whatever is going on in their lives, whether it be happiness or sadness. It is a great motivation tool too.

What motivates you to create?
Just making music motivates me to write. It takes me away to a place where all my troubles go away.

How do you define success as a music artist?
Success to me is just making the music and finding happiness from it. If I can make a living from it then that would be a bonus. But that is not what I do it for.

Does art help you in other areas of your life?
My art helps me through life as it gives me the life skills to get by, If I’m always writing then I’m always happy. It gives he a sense of purpose.

How do you develop your art skills?
I develop my skills by continually practicing. There is always new skills you can learn no matter how good you think you are.

What is your next move?
My next move is to start gigging and get my music out to a bigger audience. I will also keep writing in the process.

Where will we see you in 5 years?
Hopefully in 5 years I will have a solid fan base and have a tour. Hopefully will have at least 2 albums out.
